The Hawaii football, women's volleyball and men's basketball teams had better be ready for their close-ups.
Oceanic Time Warner Cable and KFVE announced its lineup of pay-per-view events yesterday, with all of the home events available in high definition for the first time.
The package features nine football games — including four road games — the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic and three men's basketball games.

“;There's nothing like being at the game, but if you can't be there, this is the best deal in the country,”; UH athletic director Jim Donovan said. “;There's more value for the fans. We're happy Oceanic and KFVE were able to partner with us and get this done.”;
The road football games (Washington State, Idaho, Nevada and San Jose State) will be shown in standard definition and are available to UH football season-ticket holders for $99.
The Warriors' game at UNLV on Sept. 19 will be carried by CBS College Sports Network, and kickoff has been moved to 8 p.m. Pacific time (5 p.m. in Hawaii).
While the UH-UNLV game is not part of the PPV package, CBS College Sports is included in Oceanic's 11-channel Digital Sports Pak, which will be available to pay-per-view subscribers at no extra charge through Dec. 31.
The cost of the package has increased to $400 for renewals and $480 for new purchases for Oahu subscribers, a result of the upgrade to HD. Games purchased individually range from $25 for basketball to $65 for football. Neighbor island prices are half the Oahu prices.
“;With the benefit of seeing all the home games in HD quality and the added bonus of getting 11 additional cable sports channels thrown in, this is the best pay-per-vew package we've ever seen,”; KFVE general manager John Fink said. “;I just hope (Rainbow Wahine volleyball coach) Dave Shoji doesn't mind some close-ups we'll have of him in HD.”;
Oceanic will also stream all of KFVE's UH sports broadcasts online and to mobile devices. Football games are $12, all other sports are $6.
KFVE and Oceanic are also working to create a “;classic”; UH sports channel offering memorable games from past years.
