Kim fourth at Junior PGA
Former Big Island resident Kimberly Kim is tied for fourth place at the Junior PGA Girls Championship in Maineville, Ohio, with a two-round total of 140.
Her second 2 under effort at the TPC River's Bend course has her five shots off Alexis Thompson's lead.
Britney Yada of Waiakea was 20 shots back with a 155 after a 3-over 75 yesterday.

Komoto takes stroke play lead
Kacie Komoto moved to the lead after two rounds of the HSWGA Hawaii State Women's Amateur Stroke Play Championship yesterday with a 1-under 71 at Mid-Pacific Country Club.
Her two-day total of 2-over 146 has her two strokes ahead of Moanalua graduate Kristina Merkle, who led the field by two strokes entering the day.
Play concludes today starting at 8:15 a.m.
Komoto, a Honolulu resident, bounced back from a 75 in the opening round to post the best round of the tournament.
