Question: Why doesn't the Hawaiian Humane Society push to outlaw hunting as animal cruelty?
Answer: Pig hunting with dogs is a common practice in Hawaii. Hawaiian Humane Society isn't against hunting as long as it results in a quick death. However, when hunting dogs are used, they must be under the control of their owner at all times and be trained not to injure or be injured by the pig.
