Waikiki Health Center has added a clinical psychologist, Conrad Moreno, to its staff to provide patients with behavioral health care as well as medical care.

Moreno will provide short- and long-term individual health and group therapy for pain, anger and chronic disease management, the health center announced.

He has a doctorate in clinical psychology with a specialty in health psychology. He has worked with Mexican-American immigrants in an outpatient medical clinic in a rural setting and with ethnically diverse Hawaii patients.

“;He is willing to try new approaches and work side by side with our doctors and providers to offer the best quality of care for our patients,”; said Sheila Beckham, center executive director.
