Police nab alleged robber after worker sees car tags
Quick thinking by an employee during a robbery helped police catch a suspected gunman.
Police said the suspect entered a Mililani business at about 1:45 p.m. Saturday and robbed its employees at gunpoint.
He fled in a car, but a store employee jotted down the man's license plate number. Police went to the man's home and arrested the 27-year-old Ewa Beach man on suspicion of first-degree robbery.
Alleged motorcycle thief crashes near Kualoa Beach
Police arrested a man Friday after he allegedly crashed a stolen motorcycle near Kualoa Beach Park.
Police said the 42-year-old Kaneohe man lost control of a stolen motorcycle along Kamehameha Highway at about 1:10 p.m. when a towel got caught in the tires. He suffered severe road rash and was arrested of suspected unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle.
70-year-old charged after sex assault on 12-year-old
A 70-year-old man was charged Saturday in connection with the sexual assault of a 12-year-old boy in Kaneohe.
Allen J. Hee was charged with one count of first-degree sexual assault and three counts of third-degree sexual assault. He was released on $150,000 bail.
Police said the assaults occurred in Hee's home in February.
Man facing many counts of sex assault on a minor
A 21-year-old man has been charged with several counts of sexually assault involving a 13-year-old girl.
Jerold Domingo was charged Saturday with three counts of first-degree sexual assault, six counts of third-degree sexual assault and two drug counts. He was being held on $150,000 bail.
The girl reported the alleged sexual assault to police on July 18.
