The 808 Scene Zine offers a show for artistic recyclers

The 808 Scene Zine is hosting a “;recycle zine show,”; in which those with artistic flair can attend and turn old magazines into works of art.

The event, 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, includes performances by Barefoot Bob, Kit Dylan and Shawn Davenport at Ong King Art Center. From 9 p.m. to midnight, bands 82Fifty, the Chilling and more will play.

All-you-can-eat pupus will go for $3, and drinks are BYOB with ID, with a $3 corking fee. Admission is $2 from 6 to 9 p.m. and $5 after 9 p.m.
