The circus hits the Windward side
The circus is in town!
Kama'aina Kids, FM100 and Windward City Shopping Center are making Saturday “;Windward Kama'aina Circus Day.”; From 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. there will be entertainment by the Keiki Palaka Band, acrobat feats by Cirque Performers, a rock climbing wall, rides, bouncer rooms, rope-a-phobia, Balloon Monsoon balloon sculptures and more.
Proceeds go to the Kama'aina Kids Scholarship Fund.
Family fun continues Sunday
Gather the keiki for Bank of Hawaii's monthly Family Sunday.
“;Blown Out of PROPORTION”; takes place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Honolulu Academy of Arts.
This month's event features balloon sculptures by Balloon Monsoon (11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.); a Mad Science Hawaii show, which includes an exploding foam fountain; a watermelon seed-spitting contest (1:30 to 1:45 p.m.); bouncy ball making (1:45 to 2:45 p.m.); flubber making (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and a gallery hunt (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.). The film “;Gumby”; will also be shown throughout the day.
