Trios advance in McGladrey event

The team of Brody Long, James Habel and Mark Casperino shot a net of 63 to win a qualifying event in the McGladrey Tournament on Saturday at Kaanapali Golf Resort.

Eric Emmel, Richard Armijo and Dillon Soldwisch finished one stroke back in the best-ball team tournament and also qualified for next month's sectional qualifier at Kahili Golf Course.

Sing Chow powers Paniolos

Waylen Sing Chow went 4-for-5 with a triple and scored three runs to lead the Kamuela Paniolos to a 9-6 win over the Oahu Paddlers in a Hawaii Collegiate Baseball League game yesterday at Mililani High School.
