Whaler condo resort gets a face lift

The Whaler, a luxury condominium resort at Kaanapali Beach on Maui, has completed 18 months of renovations. Improvements include a palm-lined entrance, a waterfall and koi pond, new lounge furniture and poolside cabanas.

Turtle Bay Resort offers kayak tours

Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu's North Shore is now offering kayak tours. New kayaks provide a stable platform for above-water viewing and plexiglass bottoms for underwater views.

Tours operated by Shaka Kayaks depart daily from the Turtle Bay Resort lobby. Guests get instructions on proper kayaking techniques and practice time before setting out.

'No. 1' golf course lowers rates

Princeville's Prince Golf Course on Kauai's North Shore, named by Golf Digest as the No. 1 course in Hawaii for the past several years, is offering a discounted kamaaina rate for Hawaii residents through October.
