An Oahu grand jury yesterday indicted Felix Thaxton on charges of sexually assaulting and attempting to prostitute a 13-year-old girl.

Thaxton is charged with two counts of sexual assault in the first degree, sexual assault in the third degree, two counts of promoting prostitution in the first degree and criminal solicitation.

He remains in custody unable to post $250,000 bail.

Police said the girl caught a ride with Thaxton in Waikiki June 28.

She told police Thaxton offered her $100 to perform oral sex on him and propositioned her to work for him as a prostitute. She said Felix later took her to a secluded area where he sexually assaulted her.

She also told police that Thaxton said two other girls, ages 17 and 14, were working for him as prostitutes. She said Thaxton asked her to have sex with an acquaintance, then took her to meet another pimp.
