Universoul Clothing's weekly party at the Living Room doubles tonight as a five-year anniversary celebration for the nightclub itself.

Doors open at 9 p.m. for the 21-and-over crowd after happy hour wraps up at the bar. As has been the case for the last few weeks, the party will feature live entertainment—local reggae favorites Ooklah the Moc are signed up to help the Living Room celebrate in style.

Japanese rapper Shingo2 arrives in Honolulu for a performance tonight at Lotus Soundbar, followed by an appearance July 10 at Tropics Cafe.

Tonight's show, hosted by SiQ Records and Goodlife Entertainment, will also feature performances by local hip-hop artists Meiso, Ill Hill Society, Lion of Zion and Amen of Indigenous Womb. SiQ Records' Ion Myke will host the party; doors open at 9 p.m. for everyone 18 and over.

”;4th of July Rajah”;

Haven't made plans for the Fourth of July yet? Head to the windward side to party with Rajah Productions at Kailua Beach Park.

The Rajah crew will be set up under two covered pavilions at the park from 10 a.m. tomorrow, with live music, free prizes and a special appearance by Maui-based reggae band Inna Vision.

After the fireworks are finished, head to Boardriders Bar and Grill for a 21-and-over afterparty with Inna Vision. Cover is $5 after 10 p.m.

Keep the patriotic vibe going tomorrow night at The Shop, where Double-O-Spot has a special Independence Day edition of “;Energy”; planned.

Along with resident DJs G-Spot, Tide and Scarrd, California's The Cuban and Arkansas-based DJ Barker will spin guest sets.

Doors open at 9 p.m. and all ages are welcome; wear red, white and blue and save $2 off the $10 cover charge.

Start next weekend early with the ladies of Cherry Blossom Cabaret, when the dance troupe celebrates its third birthday at the Mercury Bar.

A flier for the event states the night will be “;no big party”; and that the ladies just want their supporters to “;just come and have a drink.”; The fun is scheduled to start at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, with DJ Jet Boy spinning tunes—with “;maybe a bit more”; in store for those who show up.
