Seminars will offer tips on senior care

ORI Anuenue Hale, a nonprofit organization offering support services to seniors and families, will hold a free seminars on elder care this month and next at its Wellness Center at Helemano Plantation, 64-1488 Kamehameha Highway, in Wahiawa.
The first in the “;Ask a Doctor: Family Caregivers Roundtable Discussions”; will run from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, on the topic “;Preventing Elder Abuse,”; led by Dr. John Magauran.
On June 24 it will be “;Dealing with Behavior Problems/Ways to Cope/Caregiver Stress management,”; also featuring Magauran.
Participants may buy or take a lunch for talks with Magauran from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on these dates:

Three sessions are scheduled on “;Ask the Nurse: Training and Caregiver Support”; with registered nurse Connie Muse, each from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
