”;Longhi's 6th Anniversary Bash”;

Local restaurateur Charlie Longhi hosts a free anniversary party at his Ala Moana location tonight to celebrate six years in business. Doors open at 9 p.m., with entertainment by Longhi's band, The Funk-A-Holics, and the Atomic HornDogs. Musician friends Mark Caldeira, Michael Grande, Konrad Kendrick, Dennis McCless and Todd Yukumoto will also be on hand to play their style of “;funk, soul and rock 'n' roll”; throughout the night. Admission is free; a champagne toast will take place at midnight and there will be food and drink specials all evening.

”;Deuce”;

Level H Productions and No Way Out Entertainment return to Aloha Tower Marketplace for the latest edition of “;Deuce”; at Chai's Island Bistro.

In addition to celebrating No Way Out's two-year anniversary, the evening will also serve as a mixtape release party for DJs Lex1 and Edit. The duo will perform a tag team DJ set on four turntables to give guests a sample of the mixing styles found on “;The Movement: Vol. 1.”; Copies of the mixtape will also be given away throughout the night.

Along with Lex1 and Edit, DJs Flip and Idle will also be on hand for this indoor-outdoor “;nightlife experience;”; go-go dancers Sheleen Dee and Nikki Sotelo will also be in attendance.

 

Saturday

”;All-ages Rock Night”;

Sand Island Sports Bar, 197 Sand Island Access Rd. / 847-5001

Rock fans of all ages are welcome at Sand Island Sports Bar on Saturday for a concert featuring some of Honolulu's up-and-coming bands.

Performances start at 7:30 p.m. Saturday; a $5 cover charge will be in effect all night. She Can Devour, Sigma, Erika Elona, Hearts Affray and Restore are among the bands scheduled to perform, according to promoter Nemesis Productions.
