A woman who allegedly ran over a Honolulu police officer's foot in Waianae on Friday was indicted yesterday on multiple charges.
An Oahu grand jury charged 33-year-old Norina Rzonca of Waianae with attempted first-degree assault, first-degree terroristic threatening, first-degree assault against a law enforcement officer and driving without a valid license.
Police said the officer responded to a domestic argument in a vehicle on Lualualei Homestead Road. When he arrived, Rzonca turned her vehicle around, headed toward the officer, hitting him and running over his right foot, police said.
The officer, Ming Wang, 38, drew his weapon and fired one shot at the vehicle. He was treated at a hospital and released.
Police said Rzonca fled but later turned herself in.
