Computer breach is cause for concern
The more than 15,000 Kapiolani Community College students put at risk for identity theft because of a computer breach would be wise to monitor their bills and credit reports closely for the next few months. And so would their parents, since details about many of them were included on the vulnerable financial aid forms.
Although there's no evidence that sensitive information was accessed, investigators could not rule out that possibility—and in that case, it's better to be safe than sorry.

Society of Seven keeps the music going
Imagine staying in the same job for 40 years, mostly with the same band of co-workers, and enjoying just about every minute of it. Or at least, looking like you do, in front of an audience each time.
That's sort of what the Society of Seven has done, a rare feat made even more so in the entertainment industry. The group has morphed from 1970s mustached-and-sideburned groovesters, to 21st century S0S-Las Vegas showmen. Along the way, it's retained fans among locals and returning visitors alike.
Long a fixture in the Outrigger Waikiki's Main Showroom, the group celebrates its 40th anniversary with a special show today through Friday. So here's a toast to the SOS (using those souvenir glasses from long-ago prom nights, of course): “;Suck 'em up!”;
