The Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific received a $100,000 grant from the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, enabling the medical facility to expand its charity care program for elderly and needy patients.

The hospital is the only acute-care medical rehabilitation facility serving Hawaii and the Pacific Basin and offers a number of services, including physical, occupational and speech therapy.

Martha Loezius, an active member and past president of the Honolulu Association of Insurance Professionals, was presented the Region VIII-American Association of Managing General Agents award by the National Association of Insurance Women. Loezius also is assistant vice president and commercial account officer at Bank of Hawaii Insurance Services.
