Waipahu and Radford advance in OIA White baseball playoffs

Three Waipahu runners scored in the fifth inning on an error by Kahuku, and the host Marauders pulled away to a 7-2 win to advance to today's Oahu Interscholastic Association White Conference championship baseball game.

Triton Gante tossed a two-hitter, going the distance for Waipahu, which hosts Radford today for the White division title.

Kalani 5, Roosevelt 1

Kiel Odo doubled in Cal Sumida and Jake Massey to lead Kalani over Roosevelt 5-1 in the Red fifth-place bracket game yesterday at Kahala Park.

Devin Lee went the distance for Kalani, scattering three hits.

Kalani plays Mililani for fifth place at Kahala Park tomorrow.

Chad Bolibol cranked a two-run home run to right-center field to spark a three-run first inning as the Trojans held off the host Cougars in a rain-shortened fifth-place bracket game.

OIA Red semifinals

The two OIA Red semifinals were rained out yesterday and will be played today at 3:30 p.m.

Host Pearl City held a 1-0 lead over Moanalua yesterday when the game was suspended in the second inning.

The Kailua-Campbell game never started yesterday due to wet grounds.
