Kapolei advances past Kalani in OIA playoffs

Kiel Odo singled in the bottom of the seventh inning to bring in Wataru Noguchi for the winning run as the Falcons defeated the Hurricanes 5-4 in the first round of the OIA playoffs.
Noguchi finished with two hits, including a double and scored two runs for Kalani.
Brandon Damas drove in three runs for Kapolei in the loss.
Kalani moves on to play at Pearl City, the West's No. 1 seed, today.
