Hawaii has earned its highest ranking in the Mike Trapasso era, checking in at No. 20 in this week's Baseball America poll.

The Rainbows (24-13, 7-4 Western Athletic Conference) took three of four from Sacramento State last weekend, mixing great pitching (10 runs allowed in four games) with power hitting (seven home runs, including four from Kevin Macdonald).

Hawaii has never been ranked higher in Trapasso's eight years as head coach.

The Rainbows received 17 votes in this week's USA TODAY/ESPN Top 25 Coaches poll and were not ranked in the top 30 of Collegiate Baseball.

Hawaii is on the road for a game today at No. 2 Arizona State before playing a four-game series at New Mexico State beginning Friday. Today's game time has been moved up 30 minutes to 3:30 p.m. Hawaii time.
