Honolulu's Michelle Wie barely made the cut at the Lotte Mart Women's Open at the Sky Hill Jeju Country Club in South Korea.
The Stanford University sophomore shot a 3-over 75 in today's second round and landed on the cut line at 8-over 152 in 59th place in the LPGA event. Wie had trouble reading the greens because of nearby Mt. Halla, which apparently makes a seemingly flat surface tilt away from the mountain.
“;I got confused with Mt. Halla,”; Wie was quoted as saying in The Chosun Ilbo newspaper. “;I had experienced this before in the 2003 CJ Nine Bridges Classic, but it's really difficult because I have to putt differently.”;
