Radford student arrested in stabbing of classmate

Police arrested a 16-year-old boy who allegedly stabbed a 17-year-old boy yesterday morning at Radford High School.

The 17-year-old was taken by ambulance to an area hospital, where he was in good condition.

Police said the suspect allegedly used a sharp instrument to stab the 17-year-old at about 10:30 a.m. yesterday.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.

Police arrest 3 teenagers in Kapolei, Waianae attacks

Police arrested a group of teens who allegedly robbed and assaulted two other teens at a Kapolei bus stop on Saturday and then allegedly assaulted a man riding a bike in Waianae about an hour later on Sunday.

Two boys, 16 and 17 years old, were sitting at a bus stop in Kapolei just before midnight Saturday when a 17-year-old boy punched them and demanded property. He then fled in a car driven by another 17-year-old boy; an 18-year-old man also was in the car, police said.

One victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment, police said.

Then at about 12:50 a.m. Sunday, two 17-year-olds and an 18-year-old man, who were in a car, allegedly assaulted a 27-year-old man riding a bicycle on Orange Street in Waianae, police said.

The victim told the boys and man he liked the music they were playing in the car, and the 18-year-old got out and began punching him; then the other two joined in and held him to the ground, police said.

A 17-year-old was arrested Wednesday for investigation in both cases. An 18-year-old man, also a suspect in both cases, turned himself in to police.

A second 17-year-old was arrested in the Kapolei incident but is not a suspect in the Waianae case. A third 17-year-old is being sought in the Waianae case.
