Liang makes 'Working Mothers' list
Janet Liang, president of Kaiser Permanente Hawaii, is the only honoree from Hawaii to be named as one of 30 “;Working Mothers of the Year”; by Working Mother magazine.
The award is presented annually to moms who adeptly balance career, motherhood and self-development with grace and determination.
Liang, who became president of Kaiser Permanente Hawaii in 2007, has two daughters, Mara, 7, and Macy, 5. Liang is an active supporter of children's services and at-risk youth programs, and has served on a number of boards for social service agencies. She is a member of the Hawaii Business Roundtable, the Healthcare Executive Study Society and the Presidents Organization — Hawaii Chapter, a director for Kaiser Permanente Insurance Co. and a trustee of the Le Jardin Academy.
TriWest earns customer certification
TriWest Healthcare Alliance, which operates a contact service center in Honolulu, has earned certification from J.D. Power & Associates for providing outstanding customer service to its beneficiaries for the second year in a row.

McIntyre Jr. “;This certification also demonstrates a strong commitment by TriWest's contact center staff to provide outstanding support to TRICARE's 2.7 million beneficiaries living in the West region and 145,000 health care practitioners in the provider network.”;
TriWest's six contact centers, received the certification after a third party conducted surveys of approximately 1,500 TriWest customers over two-and-a-half weeks.
Military relocation guide debuts online
Prudential Locations has launched an online military relocation guide for active duty military members and their families that are moving to Oahu.
“;Prudential Locations is committed to providing members of the military with an easy-to-use online resource that will assist them with exploring Oahu's real estate market,”; said Tracy Behler, executive vice president of client relationship development at Prudential Locations.
The interactive guide allows families to find homes near the eight major military bases on Oahu. It includes information on Veterans Administration loans and a Basic Allowance for House chart that shows how much allowance by rank might could be used to buy a house.
The guide also allows users to define what property type they desire: single-family homes, townhouses, condominiums or vacant land; as well as the price range for which they are looking.
