For those of us who have ever weeded through governmental budget reports, environmental impact statements or other forms of bureaucratese, it's about time.

Daniel Akaka and winding through Congress, would require federal agencies to practice “;writing that the intended audience can readily understand and use because that writing is clear, concise, well-organized, and follows other best practices of plain writing.”;
