Book fair benefits charter schools
Alu Like's Native Hawaiian Library (NHL) hosts a book fair from April 13 to 18 that benefits 19 charter schools statewide. The fair is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and will be held at 458 Keawe St. Books from local vendors will be available, including Kamehameha Publishing, Native Books and Bess Press. Theater program seeks teens
Hawaii Theatre Center's Summer Theatre program is now accepting applications. The monthlong program is open to teens ages 13 to 18. All experience levels are welcome. Sessions are held Monday to Friday, June 15 through July 9 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Hawaii Theatre. Enrollment is open through May 30.
