Seniors can learn how to avoid fraud

The state and city are sponsoring a conference for elders to give them tips about how to avoid fraud.

The conference, “;Protect, Detect, Report,”; is April 25 at the Hawai'i Convention Center from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Registration is $10 for seniors and $30 for nonseniors.

For program and registration information, contact the state Executive Office on Aging or the city Elderly Affairs Division. Information is also available at senior centers and community parks.
