The Hawaii State Coalition Against Domestic Violence will sponsor a march in memory of Royal Kaukani, 25, at 5:30 p.m. next Tuesday.

The walk will begin at the Beretania Street side of the state Capitol and proceed around the Civic Center in downtown Honolulu.

A memorial service is planned for April 6 for Kaukani, who was fatally shot March 17 near her Ewa home. Her ex-boyfriend has been charged in her death.

The April 6 celebration of Life will be at 7 p.m. at New Hope Leeward Christian Fellowship in the Waipahu Town Center, 94-050 Farrington Highway.

The family suggests that casual or aloha attire be worn.
