Marksmen to speak at QB Club

The Honolulu Quarterback Club will feature three high schoolers tomorrow who were invited to the Junior Olympics for air riflery next month in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Clarissa Haunani Akana of Sacred Hearts Academy, Chelsie Hata of Moanalua, and Jayson Lum of Saint Louis will be at the Olympic Training Center for the event, and will speak on it at the club's weekly luncheon at the Pagoda Hotel's International Ballroom.

Air riflery coaches Alan Tokumura (Sacred Hearts/Saint Louis) and Edmund Chang (Moanalua) will also be available for questions. The luncheon is open to the public starting at 11:30 a.m.

UH tennis falls in Alabama

The Hawaii men's tennis team lost 4-0 against No. 41 Oklahoma yesterday in the Blue-Gray Tennis Classic in Montgomery, Ala.

UH, ranked 75th, dropped two of three doubles matches and its first three singles matches. Play in the other three singles courts ended early because the Sooners had already clinched the overall victory.

The Warriors (3-6) finished the tournament at 1-2.

» Arizona ended the five-match winning streak of the UH women's tennis team with a 6-1 victory yesterday at the UH Tennis Complex.

The 64th-ranked Wildcats stopped their Wahine opponents on the first four singles courts for the decisive victory.

Rainbow Wahine sweep Brown, Indiana

Saara Majuri put in a combined seven goals to carry the Hawaii women's water polo team to a sweep of Brown, 20-4, and No. 18 Indiana, 6-2, at the Aztec Invitational yesterday in San Diego.

Majuri put in six goals against Brown. Dagmar Genee scored a hat trick against the Hoosiers in the second match.

UH plays against Pacific and Hartwick today to complete the tournament.
