Solomon Elimimian and Adam Leonard racked up some impressive numbers over four years anchoring Hawaii's linebacker corps.

;

Lately, they've been concentrating on paring down another set of figures.

Both are focused on improving their times in the 40-yard dash and various agility drills in advance of Hawaii's pro day April 2 in Carson, Calif.

“;I wish it was sooner,”; Leonard said. “;I'm just taking every day to prepare my self and go out there and give my best effort.”;

Leonard trained at Sports and Field in Tampa, Fla., before moving back to the West Coast to finish out his training in the Bay Area as he looks forward to his opportunity to perform for the pro scouts.

Elimimian finished his career in December as UH's all-time tackles leader and has been training with Doug Hix of Play Fast Athletics in San Diego. Among those joining Elimimian in the training sessions have been former Boise State running back Ian Johnson, Michigan State running back Javon Ringer and Nebraska running back Marlon Lucky.

“;It's a lot of competition, it's been fun, it's been good training,”; Elimimian said.

Elimimian said he's maintained his weight at around 230 pounds while trying to put on more lean muscle and cut down his time in the 40.

“;That's something I'm working on and I have confidence it's going to be where it should be by the time I'm ready to run,”; he said.

UH associate coach Rich Miano is coordinating the pro day for the former UH players and several Hawaii products attending mainland colleges.

Defensive end David Veikune, cornerback Ryan Mouton and long snapper Jake Ingram—all of whom participated in the NFL combine last month—are also expected to attend the pro day along with most of the senior starters off last year's team.
