Hawaii tops Chaminade in tennis
Hawaii won its third straight women's match, 6-1 over Chaminade yesterday at the UH Tennis Complex.
The Rainbow Wahine swept the doubles matches and captured five of the six singles matches, led by Alyssa Nafarrete's 6-0, 6-0 blanking of Chaminade's Stacey Chaussoy at No. 4 singles.
Silkie Kawahakui earned the lone point for the Silverswords by beating Hawaii's Crystine Ito 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 (4).

Hawaii-Hilo sweeps Grand Canyon
Hawaii-Hilo swept a baseball doubleheader from Grand Canyon yesterday at Francis Wong Stadium.
The Vulcans scored four runs in the second inning en route to a 7-3 win in the first game.
Clayton Uyechi allowed five hits in five innings with three strikeouts to earn the win for the Vulcans (8-7, 3-3 PacWest).
Hawaii-Hilo center fielder Keoni Manago went 3-for-3 with a homer and two RBIs.
In the second game, Ronel Trias went 3-for-3 to lead UHH to an 8-0 win over the Antelopes (9-16, 3-7). Kekoa Lee pitched the win, giving up only three hits in six innings and striking out five.
BYUH, Academy of Art split in softball
Brigham Young-Hawaii split two softball games with Academy of Art yesterday in Laie.
Kahealani Alohikea-Betham's walk-off home run in the bottom of the eighth gave the Seasiders a 2-1 victory in the first game.
In the second game, Academy of Art's Sierrah Garcia pitched a complete-game four-hitter in a 2-0 victory.
The Seasiders (8-18) and Urban Knights (7-21) meet again tomorrow at Laie.
