RENO, Nev. » B.J. Penn and his camp have filed a formal complaint with the Nevada State Athletic Commission against Georges St-Pierre and his camp concerning the illegal use of Vaseline during their Jan. 31 UFC welterweight title fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The document was submitted to the NSAC on Monday and a hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.

The use of Vaseline happened between the first and second rounds in a fight that St-Pierre won by TKO after Penn did not answer the bell for the fifth round.

Video replays clearly show cornerman Phil Nurse gently rubbing the substance on St-Pierre's shoulders and back.

UFC President Dana White has acknowledged the incident happened, but has made it clear he doesn't believe it affected the outcome of the fight.

The complaint requests that the commission fine St-Pierre, Nurse and Greg Jackson as well as other unnamed individuals.

It also requests St-Pierre's license be revoked and for the official result of the fight to be declared a no contest.
