Saturdays
10 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Spring cleaning tips to save time and money.
11 a.m. to noon: Tiling floors and walls. How to select and install the right tile for your space and budget.
1 p.m. to 2 p.m.: Installing molding. How to measure, cut and install molding like a pro.
Sundays
1 to 2 p.m.: Spring Outdoor Preparation. Time- and money-saving tips on reviving your outdoor spaces.
Kunia orchid show set for Leilehua
The 55th annual Kunia Orchid Show takes place at Leilehua High School from March 20 to 22 with food booths, plant advice, a country store and prizes.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Call 623-8585.

Dr. Hillebrand Garden tour: 1 p.m. tomorrow, Foster Botanical Garden. Visit trees planted by the first gardener at Foster in the 1850s on a tour led by Liesel Van der Leeden. Tours also on April 11, May 9 and June 13. Garden admission fee. Reservations required. Call 522-7066.

Manoa Heritage Center: Seeking guide tours for center's garden. Docent training class begins Monday. Call 988-1287.
Docent training class: 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Foster Botanical Garden. Topics include a garden tour, orchids, significant trees, plant documentation, garden art and overview of the botanical gardens system. Requires 25 hours of service. Worm Workshop and Garden Tour: March 21, Halawa Xeriscape Garden, 99-1268 Iwaena St. Tour begins at 9:40 a.m.; workshop from 10 a.m. to noon. Participants learn about how worm harvesting helps to fertilize plants and conserve water. Fee: $30, $20 members; includes cost of mini-bin, worm colony and an owner's manual.
