St. Andrew's offers free talks
Hokule'a crew members Billy Richards and Marjorie Mau will launch a series of free Thursday night forums at Saint Andrew's Cathedral this week.
The two will speak on “;Hokule'a: Island of the Navigator,”; about their voyage to the Micronesian island of Satawal, at 5:45 p.m. Thursday. They'll discuss on-board living, “;the canoe as an island and an island as a canoe.”;
Coming up in the “;Thursdays at Saint Andrew's”; series: “;Caring for the Elderly,”; with professor Kyle Kajihara of the University of Hawaii Elder Law Program, March 19; “;Discovering the Labyrinth,”; with Marcie Uehara Herring, director of the Kai Wellness Center, March 26; “;Principles for Living in Difficult Times,”; with the Right Rev. Robert L. Fitzpatrick, Episcopal Church bishop, April 2; and “;Traditional Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar,”; with Ozzie Kotani and Tom Kaulukukui, April 16.

Cheech & Chong plan Hawaii shows
The irreverent duo of Cheech & Chong bring their counter-culture comedy to Hawaii in May for shows in Honolulu and Maui.
Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong, on their first tour in more than 25 years, play the Waikiki Shell on May 28 and the Maui Arts & Cultural Center May 29.
