Seaman gains LEED accreditation

; Group 70 International Inc. announced that the U.S. Green Building Council awarded Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accreditation to Sheryl Seaman, vice chairman and principal. LEED accreditation signifies that an individual has passed lengthy examination and can demonstrate the skills and knowledge necessary to participate in the design process for sustainable development.

Pacific HomeLoans announced its top producers: Wendy Pang, senior vice president, Project Lending; and Chad Okumura and Betty Lewis, HomeLoan consultants.

St. Francis Health Services for Senior Citizens received a three-year $150,000 grant from the May Templeton Hopper Fund of the Hawaii Community Foundation.

The funds will be used to serve elderly clients who need assistance with personal care services.

The Domestic Violence Action Center of Honolulu received $325,000 from the Kresge Foundation, which awarded $63.6 million in fourth-quarter grants to 30 states.
