IN CONCERT

Steve Miller Band booked at Arena tomorrow night

The busy concert weekend includes the return of the Steve Miller Band, last seen here as the headliner of the Diamond Head International Music Festival.

The band will be joined by Jesse Colin Young, who made his name with the 1960s band the Youngbloods, and later as a successful solo artist.

Besides playing the Youngbloods' hit “;Get Together,”; Miller and his band—including legendary harmonica player Norton Buffalo—will be trotting out their own favorites from over the years, including “;The Joker,”; “;Rock 'n Me,”; “;Fly Like an Eagle”; and “;Jet Airliner.”;

Steve Miller is still flanked by iconic harmonica player Norton Buffalo, as well as the other cast members that make the Steve Miller Band one of the great rock and R&B bands.

Tickets for tomorrow's 7 p.m. show at the Blaisdell Arena are $55, $65 and $75, with a percentage of the proceeds going to the Diamond Head Festival. They're available at the Blaisdell Center box office, all Ticketmaster outlets at Macy's and Times Supermarkets, charge-by-phone at (877) 750-4400 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
