Four-time NCAA All-American Travis Lee (Saint Louis '01) will be inducted into the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association Hall of Fame in a ceremony prior to the first round of the EIWA championships March 8.

Lee became Cornell's first four-time All-American in 2005, and is one of eight four-time EIWA champions. He won national titles as a sophomore and senior, and finished with a career record of 143-13, including 47-3 in dual meets.

He won the Ivy League Wrestler of the Year award twice and is a three-time Ivy League first-team selection while wrestling at 125 and 133 pounds.

Since graduating from Cornell, Lee has won the 2005 NYAC Open, the 2006 Clansman International and the 2007 Dave Schultz International.

The ceremony will take place at the University of Pennsylvania.

» Northwestern freshman Michael Jahns (St. Anthony '08) pitched three shutout innings of relief in his first collegiate appearance Saturday in a 9-1 loss to Penn State. Teammate Paul Snieder (Punahou '08) singled home a run in his collegiate debut, a 5-3 win over Georgetown on Friday.

» Arizona State freshman Jeeter Ishida (Punahou '08) struck out four in two innings of scoreless relief in his collegiate debut, a 14-1 win over Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

» Brigham Young senior Kasey Ko (Punahou '05) went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs in a 17-14 loss to Oklahoma State last Saturday. Ko finished the first week of the season 4-for-14 with three RBIs in four games.

» Santa Clara freshman Reece Kiriu (Punahou '08) did not allow a run in two appearances over the weekend. He allowed one hit and one walk in two innings while striking out two as the Broncos opened the season 2-2.

» Puget Sound junior Jarvis Nohara ('Iolani '06) pitched two scoreless innings of relief to earn the win and Doug Cox (Kalaheo '06) scored two runs in a 9-8 victory over Whitman.

Men's basketball

» Colorado School of Mines senior Kyle Pape ('Iolani '05) sank two free throws with 9 seconds remaining to give the Orediggers a 67-66 win over Colorado Christian. Pape finished with a game-high 22 points on 6-for-11 shooting, including 4-for-7 from the 3-point line, with five assists and no turnovers in 36 minutes.

Women's golf

» UCLA freshman Stephanie Kono (Punahou '08) shot a final-round 72 to finish in fifth place at 1-over 215 to finish in fifth place of the Arizona Wildcat Invitational Tuesday. The Bruins captured the team title, beating Arizona State and USC by nine shots.

» Santa Clara sophomore Miki Ueoka (Kauai '07) won the Fresno State Lexus Golf Classic on Tuesday, finishing with a final-round 72 after opening with rounds of 68 and 69. Freshman Tammy Surtees (Hawaii Prep '08) tied for 54th and junior Jamie Nonaka (Punahou '06) finished in 64th place. Boise State junior Iris Ocariza (Moanalua '06) tied for 38th place with rounds of 80, 78 and 77.

» Claremont-Mudd-Scripps freshman Brittany Isobe (Punahou '08) finished third in the Lady Bulldogs Classic on Tuesday. Isobe shot consecutive rounds of 84.

» Cal State Northridge sophomore Ashlee Nagamine (La Pietra '07) shot 90 in the final round, but still managed to finish in 20th place at the Morehead State Spring Kickoff on Tuesday in Oxnard, Calif. Nagamine shot 78 and 76 in the first two rounds.

Women's water polo

» Pacific (Calif.) sophomore Dara Tawarahara ('Iolani '07) netted a goal in each game of the Sonoma Splash for the Tigers on Sunday. Pacific dropped its first game against Cal Lutheran 5-3 before coming back to defeat Colorado State 9-7.

» Long Beach State senior Keala O'Sullivan (Kamehameha '05) scored three goals in a 9-8 overtime win over UC San Diego on Sunday. O'Sullivan has scored a goal in three straight games and is second on the team with 10 this season.

» Loyola Marymount senior Kellen Fletcher (Punahou '05) scored a goal in the final game of the UC Irvine Invitational on Sunday to help the Lions beat the host Anteaters 8-6. LMU (6-3) finished ninth in the 16-team field. All 16 teams are ranked in the top 20.
