Neiman Marcus will be hosting the Beauty Event during store hours through March 8, with demonstrations, makeovers and a first look at the latest spring collections, including the debut of the Bobbi Brown Platinum Collection and NM exclusive Valentino fragrance.

Those spending $100 or more will receive the season's NM exclusive tote in pink, turquoise or orange with nine makeup and fragrance samples including a Bobbi Brown invitation for a full-size blush in Pink clay and invitation for a .24-ounce sample of Creme de la Mer.

Those who spend $1,000 in cosmetics or fragrances will also receive $100 off their total purchase on the spot. Individual brands will also offer other gifts with qualifying purchases.

Barbie at Sephora

For those unafraid of pink and an ultragirly look, Stila has also come up with a limited-edition makeup collection celebrating Barbie's 50th anniversary March 9.

The “;Barbie S Stila”; collection features four variations of a three-pan eye shadow, lip color and liquid eye liner kit reflecting the styles of the original 1959 Barbie, 1971 Malibu doll, 1980 Foxy doll and 2000 trendy Jewel doll. 2-days of 'Bare' makeup lessons

Bare Escentuals International Makeup Artist and Hawaii native Bravon Pascua will be back in town next month to host a series of events, including his first master class in Honolulu. Feather line premieres

Ki-ele jewelry designer Marylea Conrad will launch her Spring/Summer 2009 line, “;Feather,”; from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Alliway boutique at Ward Warehouse, as part of the store's “;Gotta Have It Thursday”; festivities, which takes place the last Thursday of each month. The designer, who has built collections around her daughter, is dedicating the line to her grandfather, whose no-nonsense lifestyle continues to be one of her sources of inspiration. Conrad uses the feather motif along with shell, driftwood and other beach embellishments in the line. During the event, there will be special pricing on all jewelry, and free gifts with every Ki-ele jewelry purchase.
