Duke's lauds Air Force personnel

Duke's Waikiki restaurant, in collaboration with Hickam Air Force Base, honored U.S. Air Force personnel in January with its 4th Quarter 2008 awards. The Team Hickam and 15th Airlift Wing winners, each given a $75 gift certificate, include Casey C. Hill, Angela E. Custer, John W. Mizelle, Troy L. Phelps, Capt. Agrawal Raj, Capt. Andrew M. Bouchard, Roxane H. Fujiwara, James San Agustin, Emil S. Sorano, Roger Storman, Elyana Soto, Mark H. Schwartze and 2nd Lt. James E. Thompson III.

Hawaii Central Credit Union hired Bruce Rosen as vice president. He has 25 years of experience as a financial executive in Hawaii, including as vice president/general manager of Bishop Insurance Agency and as enterprise management consultant of American Savings Bank.

Blue Planet Foundation hired Gary Gill as program director. He will be responsible for developing and implementing Blue Planet Foundation's priority conservation, energy efficiency and community activities. His experience includes being environmental director for the state of Hawaii and chairman of the Honolulu City Council.
