ON STAGE

Journey books shows in Honolulu and Maui

“;The concert Hawaii's been waiting for!”;

It may not be hyperbole coming from promoter Tom Moffatt, because Journey has been revitalized by new lead singer Arnel Pineda, whose voice comes oh-so-close to that beloved Steve Perry sound of years ago.

Now Hawaii can experience the thrill for themselves next month when Journey plays two concerts in the islands, first at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center's A&B Amphitheater on the 24th, then at the Blaisdell Arena on the 26th.

The Blaisdell show ticket prices are $55, $65 and $75, and they go on sale starting at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Blaisdell Center box office, Ticketmaster outlets at all Macy's and Times Supermarkets, charge-by-phone at (877) 750-4400 and online at www.ticketmaster.com.

Tickets for MACC donors go on sale for the Maui show starting 10 a.m. Saturday, with public tickets available beginning Feb. 28. Call (808) 242-7469 or visit www.mauiarts.org. - Star-Bulletin
