The Honolulu Star-Bulletin strives to make its news report fair and accurate. If you have a question or comment about news coverage, call Editor Frank Bridgewater at 529-4791.

» May Izumi will give an artist's talk on March 6 at First Hawaiian Center. An article on Page 1 of the Today section yesterday said she would also give a lecture on Feb. 26 at the Hawaii State Art Museum, but that lecture will not take place.

» Two photographs of a young Barack Obama that accompanied an article on page 1 of the Today section Monday should have been credited to the Associated Press. The photo of Obama with his grandfather, mother and sister Maya; and a second photo of him with his father were incorrectly credited to Ron Jacobs' new book, “;Obamaland.”; The online edition has been corrected.

Clarification

» Dave Thorne and Corky Trinidad, the Star-Bulletin's editorial cartoonist who died Friday, were mentioned in the Sunday Insight section as co-founders of the House of Cartoons, an organization for Hawaii artists. Other co-founders of the group who were not identified were Don Dougherty, Dennis Fujitake, Gary Kato and Stan Sakai. The online edition has been corrected.
