Bank of Hawaii is seeking 60 new hires to join its team. The positions, mostly full-time, range from tellers to commercial banking officers, home equity underwriters, trust operations analysts, human resources payroll specialists and customer-care representatives for a call center in Kapolei.

Bankoh said on its Web site it is seeking candidates with a “;keen sense”; of quality customer service as well as those who are willing to be challenged and flexible enough to adapt to rapid change.

Positions are available mostly on Oahu, but on neighbor isles and Guam as well. Some positions come with an employee referral award of between $125 to $250.

Teller positions require a high-school diploma and six months of cash handling or customer-service experience, but other positions require a four-year college degree and some experience.

Other banks, including First Hawaiian Bank and American Savings Bank, are also hiring.

First Hawaiian Bank typically has between 60 to 70 job openings.

Positions listed on the career Web site include part-time tellers at its Makiki, Chinatown, Waianae and University branches, as well as a full-time teller at its Kapiolani Banking Center.

First Hawaiian is also looking for technical specialists, and an investment officer in its institutional wealth management department at First Hawaiian Center.

American Savings Bank has about 35 openings listed, which range from a teller supervisor in Manoa to a forensic investigator and information security engineer.
