Sea Warriors start season with win

Zora Vickova and Tinka Mihova swept their opponents 6-0, 6-0 as the Hawaii Pacific women's tennis team routed Chaminade 9-0 yesterday at Central Oahu Regional Park.

It was the season opener for both teams.

Hawaii Pacific women lose on road

Tiffany Wilson scored 20 points but the Hawaii Pacific women's basketball team fell 75-63 to Notre Dame de Namur yesterday at Belmont, Calif.

The Sea Warriors fell to 8-12, 5-3 in the PacWest, while the Argos improved to 7-14 and 4-5.

Britni Rathke scored 16 points and grabbed 17 rebounds for Notre Dame de Namur.
