St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawaii named Dr. Wen-yu Lee medical director of the St. Francis Hospice program.

She will develop care plans for pain management and symptom control for terminally ill patients.

Lee also serves as a palliative care and pain consultant at Straub Clinic & Hospital.

Dr. Aida Wen was named medical director for the newly established St. Francis Palliative Care program for patients with serious or advanced illness who are not ready or eligible for hospice.

Wen, who specializes in geriatrics, is also on the medical staff at Kuakini Medical Center, Hawaii Medical Center, Leahi Hospital and Maluhia Hospital.

Bella Pietra hired Alatia Adams as the Hilo store manager. She was previously a design consultant and store manager for Pictures Plus and a Pacific Harley-Davidson saleswoman.

Auntie Pasto's named Adam Waiolama as general manager for its original location. His experience includes assistant manager for other Wary organizations, a Nick's Fishmarket bar manager and many other positions in the industry.
