'Iolani wears out shorthanded MPI

Kainoa Scheer and Reid Saito scored 12 points each as third-ranked 'Iolani defeated Mid-Pacific 65-54 in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu boys basketball game last night at MPI's gym.

Pablo Warner added 10 points for the Raiders, who wore down the seven-man Owls squad to improve to 7-1 in league play.

Marcus Holyfield led Mid-Pacific, which fell to 3-5, with 18 points.
