International Film Fest to host Oscar night party

The Hawaii International Film Festival's annual Oscar Night America party will take place on the night of the Academy Awards, Feb. 22, at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel.

The party will begin with “;pink-carpet”; arrivals and cocktails at 4 p.m., with dinner during an advance telecast of the Oscars at 5 p.m. Tickets are $250, to benefit HIFF. Call 528-3456, ext. 113, or e-mail .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

The event is one of 46 parties sanctioned by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences nationwide. Last year the viewing parties raised more than $3.3 million for charities.
