Haseko funds job training
Haseko Hawaii has contributed $100,000 to the Haseko Training Fund, which provides grants for job training programs and vocational education scholarships for Ewa Beach residents. The donation is the final installment of a $500,000 donation over five years.
ProjectFocus Hawaii, a 12-week photography internship for 14 at-risk children, received an $8,000 grant from Na Lei Aloha Foundation. The nonprofit ProjectFocus was co-founded by Laurie Callies and Lisa Uesugi, photographers and former educators, to enhance self-esteem and self-awareness in children.
Dongbu Insurance Co. named Hyung Sub Kim as Hawaii branch manager.
He was previously general manager of product development for the Dongbu Insurance Co. office in Seoul.
Avalon Realty named Elliot Domalewski as a sales associate.
Avalon Realty is a residential brokerage subsidiary of Avalon Group, a real estate development, consulting and brokerage firm based in Honolulu.
