Haseko funds job training
Haseko Hawaii has contributed $100,000 to the Haseko Training Fund, which provides grants for job training programs and vocational education scholarships for Ewa Beach residents. The donation is the final installment of a $500,000 donation over five years.

ProjectFocus Hawaii, a 12-week photography internship for 14 at-risk children, received an $8,000 grant from Na Lei Aloha Foundation. The nonprofit ProjectFocus was co-founded by Laurie Callies and Lisa Uesugi, photographers and former educators, to enhance self-esteem and self-awareness in children.
