Mililani vs. Kapolei in Red championship

Cory Nakagawa scored a pair of goals and Mililani advanced to the championship game of the Oahu Interscholastic Association Red boys soccer tournament with a 4-2 win over Kaiser last night at Roosevelt.
The top-seeded Trojans (11-1-2) will play Kapolei (10-4-1) for the OIA Red title today at 6:30 p.m. at the same site. Mililani has won the championship six of the past seven years, but Kapolei took the title in 2007.
The teams split their series this season, with Kapolei shutting out Mililani 1-0 on Dec. 23 and the Trojans topping the Hurricanes 3-2 on Jan. 16.
The Hurricanes advanced to the championship game by beating Moanalua 4-1 behind goals by Kainoa Ke-a, Micah Uehara, Justin Mavar and Jake Glendon.
Waialua and Kailua will play for the OIA White title today at 4 p.m. at Roosevelt. Neither school has ever earned an OIA championship.
