Volunteers are wanted for reserve police force

The Honolulu Police Department is recruiting volunteers to serve as reserve police officers.
Police Chief Boisse Correa has said in an effort to save money for the department, he plans to double his reserve officer volunteers up from 100 positions.
Informational sessions are being conducted through January and February at the Honolulu Police Department's career center at 715 S. King St., Room 500.
