COMING TOMORROW

The history-making fight between UFC lightweight champion B.J. Penn and welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre is just three days away, and the Star-Bulletin's Billy Hull is in Las Vegas covering the event.

Wahine leave on trip without Bolla

Hawaii women's basketball coach Jim Bolla did not fly out with the Rainbow Wahine on the team's road trip last night.

Bolla said only that it is a “;personal matter.”;

He was optimistic that he'd be able to depart today to meet up with the team in Logan, Utah, where the Wahine play Utah State on Friday. Associate coach Pat Charity will lead team activities in the meantime.

UH (3-16, 0-6 Western Athletic Conference) follows with a Sunday game at Idaho.

Seasiders fourth in national poll

Brigham Young-Hawaii moved up a spot to fourth in the most recent National Association of Basketball Coaches Division II Poll released yesterday, making the Seasiders the highest ranked in school history.

The Seasiders (13-1) have matched their best start in school history and are currently tops in Division II nationally in field-goal percentage at 52.7 percent.

BYU-Hawaii faces Chaminade tomorrow in Laie.
