Two men charged with sexual assault and a third who was originally charged with making death threats against a U.S. president are among those from Hawaii on the U.S. Marshals Service's 2009 most-wanted list of criminals.

Federal marshals are looking for Frank Lefrandt Jr., who was awaiting sentencing on charges related to sexually assaulting a 13-year-old newspaper delivery boy. Lefrandt, 47, an independent newspaper contractor working with The Honolulu Advertiser, was supposed to have begun serving a prison term this Monday but jumped bail set at $5 million.

His car was found at the airport, and last week he was in Santa Ana, Sonora, Mexico, and headed for either Guatemala or San Salvador, said James Lindblad, a bail bondsman looking for him.

Lefrandt, also known as Franci Cornelis and Frank Cornelis Lefrandt Jr., is wanted on a bench warrant. He is described as 6 feet tall and 220 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.

The Marshal's Office is also looking for Mauro Martin Ortiz, 28, of Puna for allegedly kidnapping and sexually assaulting a girl in Hawaiian Paradise Park.

Ortiz, described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, about 180 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair, was indicted by a Big Island grand jury on 13 counts, including seven first-degree sexual assault charges and one count of kidnapping the girl on June 21.

His bail was set at $1 million.

Authorities were looking for him in order to serve him with the indictment.

James Craig Tabor, 43, was charged with making death threats against a U.S. president.

Tabor was placed on supervised release but allegedly violated the release in 2002, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Tabor, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 190 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair, is wanted for violating supervised release and was last seen in 2006 at a state facility.

U.S. Marshals spokesman Jay Bieber advised the public not to approach any of the wanted individuals, but to call police about their whereabouts.

“;I would consider anybody on this list dangerous,”; he said.

» Alifeleti Taufa, 32, also known as Alfred Taufa, Alfred Tonga-Taufa or Alfred Tonga, for an alleged robbery of a business on Dec. 9, 1998, that forced patrons and employees to lie on the floor and give up their belongings.

» Geraldine C. Lara, 36, charged with a narcotics violation.

» Pavit Nittayanupap, 61, charged with making false statements.

» Jose Osuna-Armenta,

41, charged with a narcotics

violation.

» Chris Hong Tran, 28, charged with a narcotics violation.

» Arkin Taecharatanaprasert, 61, charged with making false statements.

» Charisse Macloves, 30, charged with a narcotics

violation.
