Old glasses put to good use worldwide

Here's a recycling project with vision. Dr. Hugo Higa of Aesthetic Vision Center is collecting eyeglasses through Friday to support the Lions Club Foundation's Recycle for Sight Program.

The glasses will be cleaned and sent to the needy worldwide.

Higa, a member of the Kamehameha Lions Club, will accept used prescription glasses at Aesthetic Vision Center locations in the Ala Moana Building, 1441 Kapiolani Blvd., Suite 1313; and Pali Momi Medical Center, 98-1079 Moanalua Road, Suite 660.
